La Favorita Grocery is a newly created business that was formerly combined with a restaurant/deli. The business has been divided into two parts and the grocery store is now owned by Terry Sierra. LaFavorita accepts WIC coupons and has all of the ingredients that the local neighborhood residents need to make their favorite foods.
The Rising Tide Community Loan Fund has provided three loans over five years to La Favorita Grocery Store. Recently the business was awarded $17, 500 for the purchase of equipment and working capital.
