Welcome to Rising Tide Community Loan Fund, small business loan products for the Lehigh Valley!
About Us
Rising Tide provides a full range of one-on-one business counseling microloans, technical resources and assistance to business owners where resources and opportunities for growth are limited.
Our Goal: To support prospective, start-up and established small businesses whose risk factors make it difficult to obtain funds from traditional lenders, but who inevitably make up the backbone of a thriving local economy.
Established in 2001, Rising Tide’s mission is and has always been to identify small business and community development credit needs that stifle the creation of economic opportunity in low-to-moderate-income communities of the Lehigh Valley and to meet those needs with affordable credit products.
Rising Tide Community Loan Fund (RTCLF), a subsidiary of the Community Action Committee of the Lehigh Valley, is a 501 (c) (3) non-profit Community Development Finanical Instititution (CDFI). RTCLF is funded through loans, grants, and private contributions. Sources include local, state and federal government, banks, businesses, and individuals.
When banks say no, Rising Tide can help you find a way … and make you bankable.

Financing
RTCLF provides a range of micro-loans, small business loans and lines of credit that may be used for lease-hold improvements, the purchase of equipment/machinery, marketing costs, working capital, inventory purchases and more.

Advice
We also offer technical assistance to businesses or prospective entrepreneurs in the form of one-on-one counseling on a range of topics including business-plans, cash flow analysis and projections, marketing, and business counseling on an as-needed basis.
