The Local Plant Based Pizza Company, dba Paranormal Pizza, is owned and operated by twin brothers, Marc and Joseph Kubushefski. Marc is a vegan and an experienced pizza maker. He initially invested over 3 years off work hours moonlighting as a pizza maker at a couple of pizza shops. After the 3 years, Marc decided to make and sell his own pizza using Instagram as his “storefront”. Marc was confident he had the right product and skills to open his own plant-based pizza shop.
A $15,000 loan from the Rising Tide was used to finance the startup/ opening costs associated with opening the shop.
