Ten years ago, Essence Hookah Lounge brought a new destination to the Lehigh Valley. Now, owner Orwa Makhoul is taking the next step with a craft bar and lounge for the community. The updated venue will be a place where the community can come together over a meal, a drink or to sample one of the wide range of hookah options.
Rising Tide provided Essence with a loan for renovation, equipment and business costs.
