Rising Star Learning Center, LLC., owned by Cheryl Verniero, is a child care business. The business has been so successful that she opened another site on South 25th Street in Wilson Borough. The second location provides affordable and quality care to an additional 50 children in the area and created several new jobs.
The loan from the Rising Tide Community Loan Fund was for leasehold improvements, equipment and working capital.
