1. What do you want people to know about you?
I am the new lender for The Rising Tide Community Loan Fund. I have a bachelor’s degree in science with two concentrations: Finance & Accounting. I am passionate about assessing financial health and analyzing data.
Learning is one of the things that I enjoy the most in life. I see everything that crosses my path as a learning opportunity.
2. What is your background in business development?
Prior to joining the Rising Tide, I was a commercial credit analyst for approximately four years and I was able to analyze the financial statements of different business industries. That job experience allowed me to grow my understating of a company’s financial performance, historical trends, and financials projections. As a result, this has allowed me to obtain a realistic assessment of the financial health of a business.
3. What does supporting small businesses mean to you?
Supporting a small business is the best way to support my community and ensure family, friends, and neighbors have job security. In addition to this, small businesses bring character and uniqueness to our community, which help grow the tourism and local economy.
4. What is your best advice for someone who wants to start a business?
My advice for someone who wants to start a business is that if you are talented and passionate at something, you need to share that with the public. Do not be afraid of following your dreams. Your love for that will help you find the way to succeed!
