Nancy Safko has spent years working with glass. What started as a hobby turned into a passion as she discovered the beauty of hand-worked glass jewelry and gifts. In January 2005, Nancy started her own business, Kaleidoglass, to sell the pieces she was making. Now she has transformed her hobby into a successful small business, selling her handmade glass art at retail stores, arts and crafts shows, and through her website.
The Rising Tide Community Loan Fund provided a $10,000 loan to Kaleidoglass for working capital and the purchase of equipment and inventory.
